We have been working steadily with The Museum of Anthropology in Leipzig since 2004, providing figures, both costume and sculpted, for various galleries which take an anthropological journey around the world. This museum makes up part of the Grassi Museum.

Their collections include original costume and artefacts along with installations showing customs and traditions of hunters, warriors and tribes-people from all over the world. Numerous ancient sculptures are mixed with original artifacts to give a glimpse into the diversity of life on our planet.

In addition to the modern costume figures shown here, gems studio have provided fully sculpted figures of two Andaman Islanders, a Sri Lankan devil dancer, an Afro-Brazilian woman and an Aboriginal ceremonial dancer.

Shown left, is a costume figure from the Greek Costume Gallery, awaiting installation into its showcase. Our account manager, working closely with the museum's curators, travelled to the museum for essential fit meetings during the duration of the project.
