Gems Studio specialise in customised forms for showing conservation grade garments and accessories.

These pages show some of the more unusual bespoke options that we have produced for clients. These are non-standard items and by no means show the full spectrum of bodies and presenters we have worked with.

Shown left, is a cutaway body form showing a conservation grade jacket. This particular form of display allows the viewer to concentrate on the actual garment, rather than the personality of the wearer. We have a large number of standard body shapes from which to select: male, female and child. The cutaway is carefully prepared to sit just inside the cut of the garment, thus disappearing.

We have a great deal of experience with conservation grade garments and pay special attention to the preservation aspect of materials used in manufacture of this type of form.
