gems studio were approached by Liverpool football club to produce a sculpt of star player Steven Gerrard as a centrepiece for the launch of their newest merchandise store within the new Liverpool One shopping centre.

Due to the footballer's busy schedule we were unable to organise a sitting, so worked from images and measurements supplied

 by the club.

Shown left, is a final shot of the figure in the Liverpool Football Club colours, prior to leaving for installation in the store. Images of the figure would be sent to the client for approval before packing, so that any minor adjustments to hair of colouring can take place before despatch.
