Wax head during hair insertion process
American fashion designer Rick Owens approached gems studio to sculpt his head and torso for use as a wax figure at his Pitti Filati "Dustpump" fashion presentation in Florence.
Shown left, is the wax head having a full head hair insertion. Hair samples are carefully matched to the reference images given by the client and again to the skin tone to ensure a natural and pleasing result. Facial and body hair can also be applied, as each project requires.
