gems studio are specialists in the production of cutaway bodies for museum and heritage garment presentation. These are used for the display of conservation grade historical costume and modern contemporary fashion garments alike. Cutaway bodies are currently enjoying popularity, drawing attention to the actual garment being displayed and rendering the body on which it is placed "invisible". This is especially pertinent where the museum wants the focus to be on a style of garment, rather than the actual wearer.
