Prince William sculpt - Royal London Wax Museum, Vancouver Island, Canada

gems studio worked with the Royal London Wax Museum in 2008 to create a custom sculpt of Prince William, which was produced in wax.

We were briefed to sculpt William in his early twenties for installation into the museum alongside a previously sculpted figure of his mother, Princess Diana. This was to mark the 10 year anniversary of Diana's death.

Shown left, is the original clay during the sculpt process. Images were regularly sent to Vancouver to ensure that the head was correct to the client brief. Hair is added so that the client is more easily able to evaluate the sculpt.
