gems studio are able to renovate and refresh your old figures, whether wax or fibre-glass.

Repairs, resprays, recolouring and wigmaking services are all available and costed upon application, according to the amount of work and detail needed.

Shown left, is one of our own archive wax figures that we recently renovated. Great care is taken where wax is old and deliacate, in this case the nose was rebuild with wax taken from elsewhere on the figure, so that the consistency of the wax matched prefectly. The figure was washed and recoloured, the hair was washed a number of times and reset.
