gems studio are able to renovate and refresh your old figures, whether wax or fibre-glass.

Repairs, resprays, recolouring and wigmaking services are all available and costed upon application, according to the amount of work and detail needed.

Shown left, is the archive wax figure pre-renovation. The extent of the damage to the nose is apparent, great care was taken when rebuilding to use wax taken from elsewhere on the figure in order that the joint be strong and unnoticeable. In renovating the figure, we tried to retain the vintage feel of the piece by keeping the colouring faded in feel.
